Jessie Mae “Joy” Dickson died Sunday, April 29, 2012, in St. George, Utah.
Joy joined her husband, Elwin C. Dickson, who died in 2006, and her daughter, Ila Mae Gaydos-Dickson, who died in 2004, in heavenly peace.
She died surrounded by those she loved, who had cared for her since she moved to St. George in 2006 from Brigham City, Utah: daughter Jean Dickson-Hymas, granddaughter Melody Joy Dickson and son-in-law Rodger Hymas.
Joy was born Jan. 9, 1926, in Bear River, to Clara Walsh and Charles Colett.
She is also survived by granddaughters Linda Vinson and Patience Gaydos; brother Jack Thompson; sister Sara Taylor; and many friends who loved and enjoyed her sweet personality.
