Justin Ketchum was born on May 7th, 1987 in Craig, CO. He graduated from MCHS in 2005. He lost his life in a car accident on March 14, 2017. He was 29. Justin had a big heart and was always chasing his dreams. He loved life, family, the outdoors, animals, aliens, horror movies and his biggest passion in life, music. He got his first guitar at the age of 16 and taught himself to play. He went on to play in many bands with his close friends and eventually his dream band called Biological Meltdown, with his best friend and brother Tyler at his side. The band all had the same dream and set out to accomplish that by playing with 2 of their favorite bands Green Jelly and Doyle of The Misfits. Justin was with the love of his life, Anna Gates, for the past 2 1⁄2 years. They had dreams of their own to record music and to live life at each other’s sides forever with their 2 dogs. They lived in Craig and had plans to move to Denver this summer to start to a new life. Justin was always there for family and friends and lived life to the fullest. He will never be forgotten. Justin leaves behind his parents Denise Jenkins (Wes) of Craig and Kent Ketchum (Sharon) of Cañon City, Brother Tyler Ketchum, Grandmother Susan Rosencutter, Girlfriend Anna Gates, Step Sisters Meranda Holmlund, Sarah Cordes, Kaddie Williams and Heather Jenkins.
