Linda Grace Randolph Butler was born June 29, 1958, in Santa Fe, N.M., the daughter of Alfred Guy and Agnes (Vigil) Randolph.
She was raised and attended school in Thoreau, N.M.
Linda spent her childhood summers in Dulce, N.M., with her grandparents, Lindo and Bessie Vigil, and relatives.
Following High School Linda attended Ft. Lewis College in Durango for one year.
She married Earl D. Butler May 5, 1979, in Thoreau, N.M.
They made their home in various places over the years, finally settling in Craig and became the parents of four children, Kayelyn, Robert, Carl and Melody.
Linda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, where she served in various callings throughout her life.
Her hobbies, which she enjoyed very much, included beadwork, dancing, genealogy, reading, horses, camping, hunting, fishing, and spending time with her husband and children.
She died Aug. 22, 2012, at her home in Craig following a lengthy illness. She was 54 years old.
Linda is survived by her husband Earl D. Butler, of Craig; her children Kayelyn and husband Brian Inman, of Colorado Springs, Robert and wife Jodi Butler, of Craig, Carl Butler, of Cheyenne Wyo., and Melody and husband Tim Bascom, of Craig; her grandchildren, Bailey, Landon, Damon, Weston, Miah, Angela, Jamison, Ethan and Nathanial; her sister Cici and husband Dale Stevenson, of Arizona; her brothers Bobby and wife Coleen Vigil, of Dulce, N.M., and Alfred Randolph, Jr., of Gallup, N.M.; her stepmother Louise Randolph, of Thoureau, N.M.; her Aunt Rose Martinez, of San Juan Pueblo; her uncle Howard Vigil, of Dulce, NM.; and many other numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred Randolph and Agnes Vigil Randolph
