April 1, 1927 - October 4, 2012
Mom passed away Oct. 4, 2012, to be with Jesus with her loving family by her side at Family Health West.
Ronnie “Mom” was born April 1, 1927, in North Hampton, Mass., the daughter of Franklin Hill and Marion Baxter Hill.
Ronnie attended South Hadley grade school and high school and graduated in 1945. After graduating, she worked for a year then met and married Jack Peters in 1946, and moved to Colorado.
Together they operated a guide and outfitters business for many years.
They divorced and she moved to Craig. After moving to Craig, she began working for City Market as a baker.
She was a member of the O.E.S. and Epsilom Sigma Alpha.
She met Jim Rogers and they married in 1979. After Jim passed away she moved to Fruita to be with her family.
In the days preceding her death, her eyes were closed. The day that she passed away, she opened her eyes and looked around to let us know she would be okay and that we would be okay too.
