Stella Jean Prettyman Alexander Johnson, of Craig and Price, Utah, died Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, in Craig. She was 64.
Stella was born March 5, 1947, to Bud and Betty Prettyman in Price, Utah.
She married Phillip Alexander. They later divorced. They had three children.
She married Gail A. Johnson, and they later divorced.
Stella loved her family, and her favorite thing was to bring her grandkids over to watch movies. She loved to play her guitar, as well as reading, crocheting, leatherwork and she was a very good artist. She loved her cat, Pixy.
She always loved getting together with her brothers and sister to play guitars and sing.
Stella was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of the gospel. She loved Heavenly Father and his son Jesus Christ. She taught her children the gospel and shared her testimony with them and others.
She is survived by her children, Wade (Cindy) Johnson, of Craig, Bud (Kelle) Johnson, of Blanding, Utah, Jenny Smith, of Eagle Mountain, Utah, Ronnie (Patti) Johnson, of Milan, Michigan; grandchildren Travis, Trevor, Jessica, Darin, Samantha, Rhiannon, and Krysten; brothers and sister Jack (Joella) Pretyman, of Ferron, Utah, Ernie (Doris) Prettyman, of Helper, Utah, David (Kristy) Prettyman, of Wellington, Utah, Jody Mortensen of Ferron, Utah, and James (Charlie) Prettyman of Emery, Utah; and a very dear friend, Dee Phillips, who lived by her in Craig.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bud and Betty Prettyman, and her niece, Shayla Prettyman Revas.
A funeral service was Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at the Wellington Latter-day Saints Fourth Ward Chapel (50 N. 100 E.)
A viewing took place at the church before the service. Interment was in the Wellington City Cemetery.
