Claysil Gibson Butler
Claysil Olvada (Gibson) Butler was born March 18, 1937, in Craig, to Arthur and Leona Allen.
She died Saturday, March 31, 2011, at home with her husband at her side.
She married Edward D. Gibson on Oct. 2, 1951, in Chandler, Ariz. To this union three children were born: Edward (Bub), Peggy Ann and William (Bill).
Edward D. died September 6, 2004.
She married Richard (Dick) Butler on Jan. 9, 2006, in Craig.
She is survived by her husband, Dick Butler; son William (Bill) and wife Christine; grandson Christopher, of California; granddaughter Stevie Hogg, of Denver; stepchildren Monica (Charles) Wilt, of Aurora, and Michael (Annabelle) Butler, of Craig; step-grandchildren Amanda and Logan Wilt; sister Anna (Bill) Rippy; brother John (Mary Lou) Allen, of Craig; sister Faye Salazar, of Grand Junction; aunt Edna Matthews, of Florence; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Leona Allen; husband Edward D. Gibson; son Edward (Bub) Gibson; daughter Peggy Ann Hogg; grandson David Hogg; and sister Edith Miner.
