Linda J. Sloan 1947 - 2010 Maybell
Linda J. Sloan, of Maybell, died May 15, 2010, at her home surrounded by her family.
She was 63.
She was born Feb. 28, 1947, in Breckenridge, the daughter of the late Ed and Cherry White. She was the oldest of three children.
On Jan. 27, 1963, she married Bill G. Sloan in Fort Collins.
She worked at the Maybell Store for more than 20 years, was a viable member of the Maybell community and a member of the Maybell Women’s Club.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Bill G. Sloan, of Maybell; daughters Carol Sloan, of Craig, and Dianne (Craig) Borgard, of Steamboat Springs; son Randy Sloan, of Craig; grandchildren David, Alan, Michelle, Rick, Chelsea, Randy, Jr., Lance, Brian, Justin and Brandon; great-grandchildren Martial, Hunter, Crystalynn, Andrew, Jayden and Hannah; and many numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will take place at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at the Maybell School.
