Peter Gilbart Alexander 1943 - 2010
Peter Gilbart Alexander, of Craig, died May 1, 2010. He was 66.
Peter was born Sept. 13, 1943, in Baltimore, Md., the son of Charles Henry Alexander, Sr. and Thelma Eleanor Alexander.
He graduated from Parkville High School in Maryland, and later married Josephine Alexander in Craig.
Peter worked as a master welder, and was a member of the plumbers and pipe fitters union. He was also an avid fisherman and outdoorsmen.
A memorial service was May 16, 2010, at Grant Mortuary in Craig.
Peter was preceded in death by sisters Lassie Krummel and Elizabeth Brandt; and brother Charles Henry Alexander, Jr.
He is survived by his wife, Josephine Alexander; sisters Paula A. Simons, Marcia Alexander, Mary A. Hall and Bonnie Alexander; brother Jeffrey J. Alexander; stepdaughter Melody Gingrich; and grandchild Megan Gingrich.
