Shannon L. Aguirre 1976 - 2010
Shannon L. Aguirre died on Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2010, at her parents’ home in Craig following a brief illness. She was 34.
Shannon was born Nov. 16, 1976, in Denver, the daughter of Jack Allen and Sharon LeLois (Cafferty) Davis. She was raised and attended school in Castle Rock, graduating from Douglas County High School.
She served in the U.S. Navy, where she was a member of the Medical Corp and was stationed at the naval hospital in Oceanside, Calif. More recently, she worked as an office administrator in the mortgage business.
Shannon made her home in Denver prior to coming to Craig in April of this year.
She enjoyed being with her daughter, McKenzie, cross stitching, hiking, fishing and being outdoors.
She is survived by her mother, Sharon, and stepfather, Ray Oletski, of Craig; her daughter, McKenzie, of Craig; her sisters, Michelle Davis and Christel Oletski, both of Denver; her brothers, Josh (Brandy) Oletski, of Hereford, Ariz., Chad (Terrilee) Davis, of Grand Junction, and Chris (Nichole) Oletlski of Lisbon, Portugal; her grandparents, Ray and Mary Oletski, of Denver, and Donna Cafferty, of Springfield, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Allen Davis.
