Burl C. Jensen
Burl C. Jensen, 71, of Lone Tree, died May 23, 2009, in Lone Tree from injuries resulting from a traffic accident.
Burl was born Dec. 6, 1937, in La Grange, Ill., to James Burl and Mary Collins Jensen. He was married to Betty A. Jensen.
Burl was a geologist/mining engineer and was involved in the American Institute of Mining Engineers. He served in the United States Army and attended the University of Idaho.
Burl recently achieved a hole-in-one at the South Suburban Golf Course.
Burl is survived by his wife, Betty; a son, Christoffer Jensen; a brother, Douglas Jensen; and a grandchild, Colton Jensen.
Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday. A chapel service will follow from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday. Services are held at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 E. County Line Road, Centennial. Burial will follow at Littleton Cemetery in Centennial.
