Christina Sue (Camilletti) Riggs
July 1, 1952 - February 7, 2009
Christina Sue (Camilletti) Riggs died Feb. 7, 2009 after suffering respiratory illness for many years.
Chris was born July 1, 1952, to Alfred and Juanita Camilletti in Steamboat Springs. She was raised in Hayden, where some of her fondest memories were helping her dad on the ranch and spending time with her family.
After graduating high school and having three beautiful children, she moved to Winnemucca, Nev. She worked for the 76 Truck Stop and First Miss Gold. In 1992, she returned to Colorado, where she met and married Bob Riggs.
After 10 wonderful years, Bob died in 2002 from cancer. Chris then returned to Winnemucca to be near her children. She was able to spend the last seven years with the lights of her life, her children, grandchildren and her lifelong best friend, Terrial Hinkle.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Juanita Camilletti, sister Patricia Camiletti and husband Robert Riggs.
She is survived by her two brothers, Darrell (Carol) Camilletti and Gene (Kelly) Camilletti; children David (Kori) Hinkle, Chad Hinkle and Regina (Jay) Thompson; seven grandchildren, Allen, Theresa, JayLen, Dominique, Hailey, Caleb and Delanie, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Her wit and good humor will be missed by her family.
