Clara N. Roth
Clara N. Roth, 71, of Center Township, Pa., died Feb. 4, 2009, at The Medical Center in Beaver, Pa.
Born Feb. 7, 1937, in Hayden, she was a daughter of the late Anton and Margaret (Jones) Kline.
Roth was an employee of the former Ninth Street Flower Shop and Sears Department Store in Monaca, Pa.
She was a homemaker, who enjoyed volunteering her services in many capacities in the community.
An active member of the House of Prayer Lutheran Church in Aliquippa, Pa., she served as Sunday School Superintendent for more than 30 years and was head of the Comfort Dinner Committee.
She was an assistant minister and lector at House of Prayer and participated in the Christian Education and Stewardship committees.
Roth was a member of the Center Civic Women's Club, for which she served as past president; the Order of the Eastern Star, for which she was a past matron; and had volunteered as a Cub Scouts den mother.
Survivors are her husband of 51 years, Richard J. Roth; son and daughter-in-law, Chuck and Kimberly Roth; and two grandchildren, Justin and Amanda Roth, all of Germantown, Md.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Dollie Frentress, and Tonee and John Gingrich, all of Craig, and several nieces, nephews and many loving and devoted friends.
