Dean Lowell Kolbaba 1944 - 2009
Dean Lowell Kolbaba died Jan. 27, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Junction.
He was born July 28, 1944, in Steamboat Springs, and he graduated from Moffat County High School in Craig.
After high school, Dean served his country in the Vietnam War.
He liked rock hunting and studying fossils. He practiced lapidary.
Dean was a good husband and father. He is survived by his wife, Kathy; son, Gregg; sister, Sandra Seip; and brother, Clint.
