Wilma D Frost 1919 - 2009 Denver
A memorial service took place April 11, 2009, for Wilma D. Frost at Calvary Baptist Church in Denver.
Frost, a former long-time Craig resident, died of a heart attack March 28, 2009, in the Christian Living Center at Clermont Park in Denver, where she resided.
Wilma (Dunckley) was born Dec. 26, 1919, in Victor, Kansas. In 1939, she and her family moved to Colorado.
She married Ray A. Frost on Sept. 2, 1942, in Riverside, Calif., where he was stationed in the Army.
After living in California, they moved to Phippsburg, where they resided until 1948, when they moved to Craig. In June 2006, Wilma moved to Denver.
Wilma is survived by her daughter Nancy (Gary) Johnson, of Denver; granddaughter Tamara (Zach) Johnson Sippl, of St. Paul, Minn.; grandson Eric Johnson, of Seattle; granddaughter Michaela (Kay) Kroplin, of Hamburg, Germany; great-granddaughter Lena, of Hamburg, Germany; granddaughter Siebel Frost; grandson Tommy Frost, of Izmir, Turkey; sister Dorothy Pearcy, of Fort Collins; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Ray A. Frost, in 1988 and her son, Jack R. Frost, in 2007.
Wilma ran a day care in her home in Craig for many years. She loved gardening, cooking and was a blessing to all who knew her. She will truly be missed.
