Judith Estelle Thomas died May 17, 2008, following an automobile accident in northern Moffat County. She was 22.
Judith Estelle Osborne Thomas was born Dec. 9, 1985, in Augusta, Ga., to Walter C. and Holly (Horton) Osborne Jr. She was raised and attended school in Sandersville, Ga.
Judy married Jason E. Thomas on Sept. 16, 2006, in Grand Junction.
They made their home in Grand Junction for a short time and then returned to Savery, Wyo. Judy was a homemaker and also worked for a preschool in Baggs, Wyo.
She enjoyed playing pool, hunting arrowheads, camping and fishing. Judy was a certified Emergency Medical Technician and was active in the school chorus in high school.
Judy is survived by her mother, Holly (Scott) Pridgen of North Charleston, S.C.; father, Walter Osborne Jr. of Tennille, Ga.; sisters Latasha Marie (Kendall) Burkett of Sandersville, Ga., Peggy (Perry) Smith of Tennille, Ga.; brothers Willie Clinton (Linda) Osborne of Tennille, Ga., James Clinton Osborne of Tennille, Ga., Ronald E. Osborne of Harrison, Ga., Glen (Sharon) Osborne of Tennille, Ga., and James Grady Osborne of Baggs, Wyo.; grandmother, Judith Horton of Milledgeville, Ga.; grandparents, Bobby (Beth) Pridgen of Columbus, Ga., and Vivian (Edward) Brockway of Smiths Station, Ala.; stepsister, Brandy Lynn Pridgen of Milledgeville, Ga.; mother-in-law, Janice Thomas-Stagner of Casselton, N.D.; aunts, Tammy Horton and Lisa Horton of Milledgeville, Ga., Susie (Mandel) Waters of Tennille, Ga., Oneita (Bowdre) Baker of Milledgeville, Ga., Myrti (Stevie) Rentz of Augusta, Ga.; uncle, Greg (Kelly) Pridgen of Columbus, Ga., and close friends, the Moss, O'Connor and Shepard families of Baggs.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Memorial services were May 23, 2008, at Baggs Community Park in Baggs.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, May 28, 2008 in Sandersville, Ga., followed by interment in Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery in Deep Step, Ga.
