1942 - May 28, 2008
Frederick L. Nehring, a beloved husband and father, died May 28, 2008. He lived his life passionately and distinctively.
He was born May 18, 1942, to Benoit Julius Nehring and Vida M. Nehring in Bridgeport, Conn.
A 1960 graduate of Andrew Ward High School in Fairfield, Conn., Fred was known as Thurmond Tucker in his football years. He was a proud Marine serving his country and an avid sponsor of The Toys for Tots Program.
He was employed by Central Heating and Air Conditioning and J.P. Salmini Co.
Upon moving to Colorado in 1972, he worked for Climate Engineering for many years before going into his own business, Precision Environments, in 1979 along with his wife, Jody. He was a member and deacon serving St. James Presbyterian Church in Littleton. He showed his love for the Lord by the life he lived helping others.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Jody (Phillips) Nehring; two sons, Frederick J. Nehring of Encineta, Calif., and Eric P. Nehring and wife, Krista of Craig; sister Leslie (Nehring) Johnson of Atlanta, Ga., and many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family of Christ.
The celebration of Fred's life took place June 2, 2008 at St. James Presbyterian Church in Littleton.
