James A. Graham 1921 - 2008
James A. Graham, of Fruita, died of natural causes Tuesday in Grand Junction. He was 86.
James was born Oct. 7, 1921, in Shawnee, Okla., to William Allen and Beulah Graham. He attended high school in Rock Springs, Wyo.
James served in the U.S. Navy in World War II as a Torpedoman Third Class. He retired from his career as a
federal corrections officer in 1971.
He is survived by his wife, Dorris Louise Graham; sons, James (Paulette), of Littleton, Craig (Arlene), of Adams, Wisc., and Terry (Robbie), of Paige, Texas; his sister, Sharon Huddlestun; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Agnes May Graham; his parents and his daughter, Virginia.
Visitation will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. today at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary in Grand Junction. Funeral services will follow.
