Angela Michelle (Smith) Stacy
January 31, 1966 - February 26, 2008
Angela was born to Eddie Leroy Jr. and Mary Smith on Jan. 31, 1966 in Gladewater, Texas.
Angela moved to Snake River in 1972. She attended Little Snake River Valley School, where she still holds the state record for the shot put. Angela graduated in 1984. She then attended cosmetology school in Grand Junction.
She had one daughter, AnnaMarie, who was born July 14, 1988.
On July 26, 2003, Angela married the love of her life, Bruce Stacy. They enjoyed spending time together and going on long drives. Angela was a great friend to all she knew and had many friends.
She enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, shopping, gardening and being outdoors. She was a great cook and famous for her prime rib. Many people would ask her to make it for them. Angela enjoyed being with people, especially children. She loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Angela died Feb. 26, 2008.
She is survived by her mother, Mary Smith, of Baggs, Wyo., father and step-mother, Eddie Leroy and Janet Smith, of Sandy Point, Okla., husband Bruce Stacy, of Baggs, Wyo., brother Don, of Craig, nieces Chlelsie and Kali, of Craig, brother-in-law Marvin Stacy, of Tulsa, Okla., daughter and son-in-law AnnaMarie and Ryan Waldron, of Baggs, Wyo., grandchildren Kyera, Kyrsten, Kyla, Landrey and Gavin, and Marvin D. Stacy, of Riverton, Wyo.
Angela was preceded in death by sister De Linda Sue Smith, mother-in-law Mary Ann Stacy, grandfather Eddie Leroy Smith Sr. and grandmother Lottei Mae Haight.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, March 3, at the Little Snake River Valley School. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation.
