Ann Cooper White 1953 - 2008
Ann Copper White, 54, died Feb. 19, 2008, at the Walbridge Wing of Pioneers Medical Center in Meeker, from complications of a partially inoperable brain tumor found in 1973.
She was born May 28, 1953, in Denver to John W. and Betty Lou Copper, formerly of Montrose. She spent her childhood in Shasta, Calif., Dutch John, Utah, and Montrose.
Ann was a 1971 Montrose High School graduate and a 1978 Mesa State College graduate with a bachelor’s degree in business administration. She was preceded in death by her parents.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Roger M. White, of Denver, formerly of Craig; daughters Kindra (Shane) Ehlers of Craig and Beth White of Atlanta; brother Louis (Mary Pheiffer) Copper of Evanston, Ill.; sisters Susan (Brad) Ratcliffe of Highlands Ranch and Mary (Gary) Martino of Pueblo; grandsons Lane White and Donovan Converse of Craig; brothers and sisters-in-law Darold (Joy) White of South Beach, Ore.; Edwin (Betty) White of Webb City, Mo.; Lee Roy White of Clifton; Wesley (Lois) White of Fruita; and 18 nieces and nephews.
A memorial contribution of life service will take place at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 23, 2008, at the First Christian Church in Craig. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to The Wallbridge Wing Activities Fund, 345 Cleveland St., Meeker 81641 or The Haven Activities Fund, 300 S. Shelton Lane in Hayden.
