Pamela Jayne Tuttle, 66, of Platteville, died Sept. 24, 2007, at her home after a 2 1/2 year battle with cancer. She was born April 27, 1941, in Hayden to Leland Ray and Mary Jane (Jebens) Smith.
Jayne grew up in Craig and graduated from Moffat County High School in 1959. On June 13, 1960, she married John Tuttle. They lived in Craig for two years before moving to Platteville. That is where she and John raised their family.
Starting in 1980, she worked as an office manager for South Weld Ag. She worked there until the company dissolved many years later.
She is survived her husband, John Tuttle, of Platteville; daughters, Luann and husband Billy Daugherty, of Denver, and Tracy Eckhardt, of LaSalle; son, Joseph Tuttle, of Platteville; sisters, Lu Garrett, of Craig, Diane Drost, of Carlsbad, Calif., and Lynn and husband Robert Bolleter, of Port Lavaca, Texas; brothers, John Smith and his wife Sally, of Craig and Bradford Smith and his wife Jacki, of Craig; grandson, Alex Eckhardt, of LaSalle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation was Thursday at Allnutt Funeral Service/Macy Chapel. A funeral service will be at 10 a.m. today at the Johnstown LDS Chapel. Interment will be at the Mizpah Cemetery in Platteville.
