Betty June Clifton
Betty June Clifton, age 77, of Grand Junction died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007.
Betty was born May 8, 1930, in Denver to Albert B. and Hazel G. Hulburd Barnes. She spent her childhood in Denver and Steamboat Springs. On Jan. 6, 1950, Betty married Richard A. Clifton in Steamboat Springs. He survives.
Betty enjoyed fishing, camping and hunting, especially in Steamboat and Alaska.
Other survivors include a daughter, Linda Anthony of Grand Junction; one grandson, Michael Anthony of Phoenix, Ariz.; two great grandchildren; a sister, Marian R. Sena; brothers, Richard N. Barnes and Daniel G. Barnes; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Cremation has taken place, and no service is planned at this time.
