Werner Dean Schwingdorf died Oct. 23, 2007.
Schwingdorf passed away at Community Hospital located in Grand Junction.
He was 71 years of age. He entered this life April 4, 1936. Werner was the loving son of Werner H. and Nellie (King) Schwingdorf.
He is survived by his son Shannon and his wife Gina Schwingdorf of Craig, and granddaughter Sarah Schwingdorf of Craig.
Werner will be remembered as a camping and outdoor enthusiast and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
A memorial service to celebrate Werner’s life is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 26, 2007 at The Church on The Rock, 2170 Broadway, Grand Junction, Colorado 81503.
Interment of Werner’s cremated remains will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to be made in memory of Werner to the charity of your choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Callahan Edfast Mortuary.
