Gustavo Gonzalez 1971 - 2007
Gustavo Gonzalez was born April 26, 1971, in Downey, Calif., to Daniel M. and Beatriz (Lopez) Gonzalez. He was raised and attended school in San Diego.
Gustavo moved to Craig in 1994 and was a laborer in the oil fields and for a time worked in management with Wendy’s in Steamboat Springs and at Burger King. He enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing, building model cars and playing his PlayStation.
Gustavo died as a result of injuries received in an automobile accident on Oct. 4, 2007, near Hayden.
He is survived by his daughter, Ashley Denee Gonzalez of Craig; sons, Nathaniel Martin Gonzalez of Craig, Daniel Robert Gonzalez of Craig; mother, Beatriz Gonzalez of Pico Rivera, Calif.; and brother Dan (Amy) Gonzalez of Pickerington, Ohio.
A prayer vigil service took place Oct. 11, 2007, at Grant Mortuary in Craig with Father James Fox officiating.
Concluding services were held in Los Angeles, Calif., and his cremains were interred at El Camino Memorial Park in San Diego.
