James Joseph Blanch
James Joseph Blanch was born in Denver on Aug. 16, 1941, to Robert and Mary Blanch. After a short illness, he died of cancer on June 24, 2007, in Phoenix.
Jim graduated from North High School in Denver. He then attended Colorado State University and Mesa College. He served in the Navy during the Vietnam War.
He worked for many years for AT&T. Jim was a golfer, and enjoyed many sports.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Robert, and his younger brother, Richard.
He is survived by his wife, Ginger Blanch, of Phoenix; his daughter, Brenda, and her husband, Gary Rivenes, of Gillette, Wyo.; his son, Chris, and his wife, Cindy Blanch, of Minot Air Force Base, N.D.; sister-in-law, Diane Blanch; and nephew, Anthony Blanch, of Denver.
He is survived by his grandchildren David Blanch, Brady Rivenes and Bode Rivenes, two stepdaughters, one stepson and many stepchildren.
No services are planned at this time, with a family service to be held at a later date.
