Beatrice (Bea) Morrison 1915 - 2006

Beatrice (Bea) Morrison, a former Craig resident, passed away Dec. 8, 2006. She was 91 years old.
Beatrice was born on May 20, 1915, to William Nolton and Stella Nolton Wallace, in Thornapple Dam, Wis.
On August 10, 1940, Beatrice married Harvey Robert Morrison and they had four children. The children are: Jerry Robert, John Wallace, Leonard Gordon and Clifford Harvey Morrison.
After living in St. Paul, Minn., for several years, the family moved to Hill Air Force Base, Utah, then to Grand Junction, Steamboat Springs and then Craig, where they lived for 40 years.
In 1999, Beatrice moved to Grand Junction.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Beulah Kinder, her husband, Harvey, and sons, Jerry and Leonard.
She is survived by her son, John, and his wife Ann, of Clarkston, Wash., her son, Clifford, and his wife Audrey, of Searchlight, Nev., and her daughter-in-law, Donna Harvey Morrison, of Craig.
Beatrice has six grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
She was a long-time member of the First Christian Church of Craig, where she participated in Bible Study and Sunday School. She was a long-time member of the Does organization of Craig.
Her hobbies included reading, crafts, camping and crossword puzzles.
A memorial service took place June 18 at First Christian Church with Merv Johnson officiating.
Internment of remains took place at the Craig Cemetery.
Contributions may be made to the First Christian Church in Craig.
