Janice Letsinger 1945 - 2007 Craig, Colorado
Janice Letsinger was born July 30, 1945, in Glenwood Springs to William and Alice Gould Lawrence. Janice died June 20, 2007, at The Memorial Hospital.
She spent most of her life in Wyoming and Colorado. She loved the outdoors, hunting, camping, fishing and doing crafts.
She married Jim Munter of Baggs, Wyo. They ran a hunting camp for 12 years in Wyoming. She also worked 15 years in the Drifter's Inn in Baggs. They later divorced, and she moved to Craig.
Janice cooked at Burtco for two years and worked at Cosgriff for four years.
She married Albert Letsinger on April 24, 1984, and had one son to this union.
Survivors include son William, his wife, Amy, and granddaughter, Haley; mother, Alice Lawrence; brother, Spencer Lawrence; niece, Kayla Draper and her two children, of Thermopolis, Wyo.; and a nephew, Paul Gunnett, of Sheridan, Wyo.
A memorial service for Janice Letsinger will take place at 3 p.m. Thursday at City Park, near the Veterans of Foreign Wars post.
Janice was preceded in death by her husband, Albert; father, William Lawrence; sisters Sarah Draper and Sherrin Lawrence.
A memorial service is scheduled for a later date.
