Gloria Meyers
Gloria Hunt Meyers, 78, of Las Vegas, passed away May 7, 2009.
She was born July 10, 1930, in Craig, Colo. Gloria worked many years as a cocktail server at the "old" Golden Nugget and the "old" Fremont Hotel, both in downtown Las Vegas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Glenn D. Hunt; mother, Orilla L. Hunt; brother, Jean B. Hunt; husband of nearly 40 years, Klarke Lee Roye "Corky" Meyers; stepson, Kim Klarke Meyers; and pets, Elvis, Willie, Jenny and Punky.
Gloria is survived by her brother, Rod Hunt, of Las Vegas; stepson, Charles L. Meyers, of Texas; stepdaughters, Brenda J. Leber, of California and Fayee K. Meyers, of Las Vegas; and many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at 10 a.m. May 19, 2009, at Bunkers Eden Vale Memorial Park, 1216 Las Vegas Blvd. N.
