Eldon Holland has been appointed interim executive director of Yampa Valley Data Partners effective Jan. 1.
Holland succeeds Keith Kramer, who served as YVDP executive director since October 2013. Kramer resigned to become marketing communications director with the Resort Group in Steamboat Springs.
"The Resort Group has gained a valuable, dedicated professional, and the YVDP board of directors salutes Keith's service as our executive director and his impact on economic development efforts and collaborative projects in our region," YVDP board chair Tyler Jacobs said in a news release.
A nonprofit organization that has served Northwest Colorado since the mid-1990s, YVDP provides non-partisan housing, employment, business climate and socioeconomic data to local governments, chambers of commerce, Realtors, bankers, schools, community foundations and businesses.
The organization provides a series of regularly published economic reports for Northwest Colorado as well as informative economic data at economic summits, local government planning sessions and community meetings.
Under Holland's leadership, YVDP's short-term goals include maintaining the organization's core products while seeking additional projects and replacing funding sources from family foundations and certain local government entities that have declined over the past years.
