The Memorial Hospital hosts golf tournament
The Memorial Hospital Foundation’s annual golf tournament on Thursday was a hole-in-one.
“We’re at a sellout,” said Eva Peroulis, tournament organizer and member of TMH Foundation
TMH hosts this tournament every year to raise money, Peroulis said.
TMH raises money from participants who pay to play in tournament as well as organizations sponsoring holes.
Twenty seven four-man teams competed across 18 holes
The first place winner walks away with $75 per team member.
Perioulis says the event is always successful.
“It’s always been a sell-out for us,” she said. “It’s a popular event.”
Justin Pankey, who played in the tournament, said he was out to have fun and support the hospital.
Friday’s tournament was the second time he has played golf in two years, he said.
Pankey’s wife Krystal works for TMH and she was also on the green to support the hospital.
