Student news: Anna Herring gets doctorate in philosophy

Anna Herring, a 2006 graduate of Moffat County High School and daughter of Laurie and Robin Herring, was awarded her Doctorate of Philosophy in Environmental Engineering from Oregon State University on Dec. 11, 2014. Her dissertation was entitled “An Investigation into the Pore-Scale Mechanisms of Capillary Trapping: Application to Geologic CO2 Sequestration.” She plans to pursue a post-doctoral appointment overseas.
