St. Michael’s Kitchen: Thank you, community
October 14, 2010
To the editor:
St. Michael's Kitchen was opened last December. We started small and now feed approximately 100 people twice a week.
This has been made possible by the generosity of the entire community.
We have received food from a number of events: The Memorial Hospital's barbecue cook-off, Relay for Life, graduation parties, reunions, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 4265 monthly senior dinners, Wellness Wednesday and more.
The Vermillion Ranch, Duzik Ranch, City of Craig, Devon Energy, QEP Energy and Grant Mortuary have also given meat by the hundreds of pounds.
We would also like to thank the many other businesses who have contributed.

All the volunteers have been awesome. Making home cooked meals, taking food to the home bound, serving all as family and cleaning up the mess without complaint. Each and everyone steps up and gives his/her all plus some.
We thank this community for caring and making sure the many needs are met. This is a wonderful community to be a part of.
