The following are the latest scores for the Craig BCA Pool League following the sixth week of play. League nights are at 5 p.m. Sundays and 6 p.m. Mondays at The Popular Bar. The league is still accepting new players.

Youth basketball officials needed

Craig Parks and Recreation is looking for basketball officials for the 2011 third- through sixth-grade basketball season.

Officials must be 14 years old and inquire by today.

Youth basketball open for registration

Craig Parks and Recreation is now accepting registration for kindergarten, first-grade and second-grade basketball teams.

Players will learn basic basketball skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting, rebounding and playing as a team.

Games are played on weekdays during the early evening.

Boys will play Monday and Wednesday evenings and girls will play Tuesday and Thursday evenings.

Parent volunteers are needed to coach to make the program successful.

Registration is $30 per player and the deadline is Jan. 11.

Any registration turned in after Jan. 11 will be put on a waiting list.

The season will run from Feb. 13 to April 12.

Adult open gym starts in November

Craig Parks and Recreation's open gym nights return Nov. 15

The program is open to players 15 and older.

Pick-up games are 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays at Craig Middle School, 915 Yampa Ave.

Pre-registration is not required and fees can be paid to the gym supervisor at the door.

Games will not be played on Thanksgiving or during Christmas Break.
