Sports briefs: Ex-Moffat football player doing well at Sterling

Andrew Drake, a 6-foot-1, 200-pound sophomore running back from Craig, has finished his sophomore year at Sterling College in Sterling, Kan.

Drake played in two games this past season and carried the ball five times for 13 yards. He had one reception for four yards.

"He played multiple skill positions this year for our offense and special teams," head coach Andy Lambert said. "He is one of the most consistent players we have. His hard work and dedication are an inspiration to the rest of the team."

Drake is a 2007 Moffat County High School graduate.
