Sports Briefs: Bowling league meets Friday

The Friday Night Mixed Nuts bowling league will have an informational meeting at 7 p.m. Friday at Thunder Rolls Bowling Center, 990 Industrial Ave.
The meeting is open to anyone interested in joining.

Season passes offered for MCHS athletics
Moffat County High School will once again offer season passes for fall and winters athletics.
The cost for a pass is $75, and covers all levels of football, volleyball, basketball and wrestling matches.
The holder of the pass is also allowed to bring one guest.
Passes can be acquired by calling the MCHS athletics and activities office at 826-6557. Passes will also be sold at the MCHS football home-opener at 7 p.m. Friday at the high school, 900 Finley Lane.
Annual Young Life Golf Tourney scheduled
The third annual Young Life Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, with an 8 a.m. shotgun start, at Yampa Valley Golf Course.
The format is a four-person scramble, and the tournament has the capacity to include 30 teams. The cost is $240 per team, which includes cart and green fees, gift bags, a light breakfast and a catered lunch.
Registration forms are available at the Yampa Valley Golf Course pro shop and the Craig Daily Press, 466 Yampa Ave., or online at http://www.bearriver.younglife.org, where participants can also pay.
Sponsorships of the tournament, holes and greens are available as well.
Proceeds from the tournament benefit Bear River Young Life's programs and events.
