The 17th annual Hospice dinner and golf tournament took place June 14 and 15 at the Sheraton Steamboat Resort and Catamount Ranch and Club golf course.
The turnout was amazing. More than 300 supporters of the Hospice program joined us for the dinner to remember and honor the lives of community members that we have lost during the past year.
John Kerst, of Yampa Valley Bank, once again generously provided his time and talent to MC the event. Music provided by Missed The Boat and wine donated by Bayard Fox, of Renard Vineyards, were enjoyed during the dinner.
Centerpieces were created by children participating in the Poogie's Place youth bereavement program.
I would like to extend a very big thank you to all of the family members of those that we serve, volunteers and staff, event sponsors, and to all who came out to celebrate and remember with us.
The generosity and support of this community continues to inspire and to remind us all why this is such a wonderful community.
