Senior Spotlight for Nov. 17, 2009
November 17, 2009
As I got in the car yesterday to go shopping with my daughter, Jane, and great-granddaughter, I looked out and what a beautiful sight.
The trees were a panorama of white, shiny brightness, as the sun shone on the snow-covered limbs behind the carport. The evergreens and bushes were dressed in green with white trim, as was the lawn.
It was truly a winter wonderland, in fall.
I have birthdays this week for Rosemary Kitchens and Amanda, my great-granddaughter.
Get well/speedy recovery to Jerry Teeter, Marti Cisar, May McIntyre and Roy Southard.
There are now four locations where senior citizens can pick up a Christmas for Seniors gift-wish application.
These locations are Sunset Meadows I and II, Social Services and the United Way, which is located on the lower level at the First National Bank of the Rockies.
The Love INC coat drive is from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at Sunset Meadows I.
The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I. Bingo follows.
News, birthdays, etc., are always welcome.
