The program "Are You Smarter than a Fifth-Grader?" is interesting for me to watch, as I listen to the questions asked by the hosts to the contestants ranging from first to fifth grade.
I answer, and I find that I am not smarter than a fifth-grader at times.
The main reason being names of places in countries have changed, math is different, history is more and social science has more, too.
The knowledge is increased in all subjects. I have learned from this program and recommend it to all ages.
I still have birthdays this week, even if I'm not smarter than a fifth-grader.
Happy birthday, Sean Southard, Lisa Gill, Tony Herrera and Norma Gilroy. Get well/speedy recovery Ruth Campanella, Sue Jones and all of you feeling ill at home in the hospital.
The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I — it's good food, good friends, and a good time. Come see us. Bingo is at 1 p.m.
Birthdays, anniversaries, news, etc., are welcome.
