Senior Spotlight for February 4, 2013

Mary Jo Brown

February is coming in with a nice change the last few days here.

According to Mr. Ground Hog six more weeks and spring will be here. Well, Mr. Ground Hog looked wide awake and very well fed to me. They should get a genuine dug out of its hole critter and while trying to wake it up get a good hold on it, ’cause he isn’t going to like it.

I know, it’s been a yearly thing as long as I can remember. Good way to do something and have fun while breaking up the boredom of gray days, etc.

Hope they all had a good time and so did everyone else, ’cause that’s one of our good old American traditions. Making something good out of whatever we need to, to make things better.

Happy birthday to Beatrice Roe, William Ping, Marie Switzer.

Get well — speedy recovery to Delores St. Louis, Tony Grajeda.

Sunset Meadows I Friday noon potluck. Come on over. Bingo may follow at 1 p.m.

News, etc is welcome. 824-2139.

Thanks

Mary Jo Brown
