Senior Spotlight for December 3, 2012

Mary Jo Brown

The halls are decked with holly, candy canes, Santas, snowflakes and a moose wearing a Santa hat. Couldn’t be cuter than that.

I’ve had that welcome moose sign on my door for several years at Christmas time, he greets people with a cheery laugh and a Merry Christmas. My daughter Jane brought my Christmas stuff over from where we stored it and we (mostly she) decorated the apartment and our space in the hall area.

Sunset Meadows I residents decorated the tree, halls, etc. So it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Remember it’s Christ’s birthday, so keep “Christ” in Christmas. Some people X him out.

Birthdays I have this week: Keith Keller, Randall St. Louis, Helen Chamberlin, Norma Willis, Mary Preece, Kathy Hayes, Mary Lou Hall and anybody else having a birthday this week.

Get well soon — speedy recovery to Twanette “Toni” Ayers, Carol Braugh, Al Herreram Linda Sandoval and Ron Moran.

Sunset Meadows I Friday noon pot luck, bingo may follow at 1 p.m.

See ya there?

Mary Jo Brown
