Senior Spotlight for April 9: Easter colors are plentiful
April 9, 2012
The Easter colors were plentiful as Easter eggs were put out in various places around town.
Like turkey on Thanksgiving, eggs will be around in sandwiches, salads, brunch, etc.
Memories of Easter will be made and of Easters past retold.
Hopefully also recalled, and I hope, too, that people spent time with friends, family, etc., at a church service, or a place of giving. We should all be thankful for what we have, regardless of how little or how much.
Time is marching on and next comes a new day. Every day is a new day, I find, so I never make plans too far in advance, though many days are all the same in a lot of ways.
They differ in some ways.
But, changes are unexpected 90 percent of my time for various reasons. Give thanks for all we have today for who knows what tomorrow may bring.
I have birthdays this week for Maggie Holland, Elberta Cochran, Evelyn Shin, Vivian Bishop, Christeen Tabor, Bryan Phillips, Connie Sickle and Addisyn Miller.
Get well/speedy recovery to Marie Switzer, Elaine Bradley, Stephanie Giovanitti, Carlos Frezquez, Rose Gomez, and Celeste Starling.
The noon potluck is Friday at Sunset Meadows I, 633 Ledford St. Come join us and bring a friend.
Anyone is welcome.
News, birthdays, anniversaries, etc., is always welcome.
