The KRAI Holiday Drive was another huge success this season. Since I retired I have been able to work with the fine people at the drive on all of the days that the drive is held.

This year’s drive was only two days but the generosity of the people of Craig and Moffat County was outstanding and it was worth the effort that was put forth. Representatives from all of the organizations who benefited from the donations for anyone in need were great to work with as well as the volunteers who assist every year.

Students from MCHS were there waiving a banner in front of the mall and boxing donated canned goods and other chores, food and drink was provided by various entities in town and moral support came from ourselves by realizing what was being accomplished.

Watching small children come by to talk to Santa and receive a candy cane was especially fun seeing the looks on their faces.

At the end of the two days we were tired but filled with the Christmas spirit.

Thanks to all who participated by bringing toys, food, money, blankets, etc. in the spirit of giving to make Christmas meaningful to everyone.

The weather was so good Santa had to find some shade. Apparently his suit is not air conditioned.

Many thanks to Frank and company at KRAI, the volunteers and especially those who contributed out of the kindness of their hearts.

Thank you KRAI, let’s do it again next year.
