The KRAI Holiday Drive was another huge success this season. Since I retired, I have been able to work with the fine people at the drive on all the days the drive is held.
This year's drive was only two days, but the generosity of the people of Craig and Moffat County was outstanding and it was worth the effort put forth. Representatives from all the organizations that benefited from the donations, for anyone in need were great to work with, as were the volunteers who assist every year.
Students from MCHS were there, waiving a banner in front of the mall and boxing donated canned goods and doing other chores, food and drink were provided by various entities in town and moral support came from ourselves from realizing what was being accomplished.
Watching small children come by to talk to Santa and get a candy cane was funn especially seeing the looks on their faces.

At the end of the two days, we were tired, but filled with Christmas spirit.
Thanks to all who participated by bringing toys, food, money, blankets etc., in the spirit of giving, to make Christmas meaningful to everyone.
The weather was so good, Santa had to find some shade. Apparently, his suit is not air-conditioned.
Many thanks to Frank and company at KRAI, the volunteers and especially those who contributed out of the kindness of their hearts.
Thank you, KRAI; let's do it again next year.
