Community Ski Club
Membership fee is $10 per person and members receive lift tickets at a discount prices. Ski Club is an excellent opportunity to experience this sport at the lowest prices possible. Tickets are good for Saturdays only, and no tickets will be available during Christmas and New Year holidays. Once you join the club, you will need to order your tickets through Parks and Recreation by Tuesday of each week. The tickets are ordered from Steamboat on Wednesday and you can pick up your tickets at City Hall on Friday to ski on Saturday.
This program provides ski or snowboard lessons for youth 6 – 15 years of age. Participants ride a bus to Steamboat, with a chaperone. Participants are required to ride the bus. If you are planning to ski more than five Saturdays of Trailbusters, you might look into purchasing a season pass for the year. Ski & Snowboard rentals are left up to the participant and special rates are offered to Craig Parks and Recreation participants, from Sports Stalker in Steamboat. It is very difficult to get season rentals from any place in Steamboat after Dec. 1, so get your equipment early!
