Funeral services for Amanda Tiede, 20, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 1, 2001, at the Church of God in Craig.

Forrest Adrian Russell


Forrest Adrian Russell of Craig died Sunday, June 10, 2001, at Valley View Manor. He was 94.

On Feb. 24, 1907, in Dixon, Wyo., he was born the son of Harry E. and Melilah (Stackhouse) Russell. On Oct. 5, 1956, in Rawlins, Wyo., he married Anges E. St. Louis. He spent his entire working life as a rancher. He was a member of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dixon.

Russell is survived by his wife; daughters, Sharon (Steve) Andrew of Craig and Joyce (Clifton) Miranda of Koloa, Hawaii; sisters, Mildred Thrift of Chicago, Ill., and Eloise Krueger of Portland, Ore.; brother, Harry E. Russell Jr., of Dixon; grandchildren, Kirsten Remmick of Craig, Carrie Arambel of Holly, Julia Elliott of Longmont, Marti Snyder and Russell Miranda of Kauai, Hawaii; great-grandchildren, Logan and Tanner Arambel and Mark Nova. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Russell was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Melilah Wren and Helen Russell and brothers, Earl, Kenneth, Louis and Eddy Russell.

Funeral services were held Wednesday , June 13, 2001, at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Dixon, officiated by Elizabeth Purdum. Organist was Connie Spicer and soloist was Jake Fleming with selection of “Amazing Grace.”

Pallbearers were Tom Cobb, Jamie Martinez, Brian Runnion, Harry Russell III, Russell Miranda and Jim Miranda. Honorary pallbearers were Sam Morgan, MIke Thomas, and Harry Duncan.

Burial was at the Reader Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be make to Little Snake River Ambulance Service or St. Paul’s Church both in care of Grant Mortuary.
