Monday Morning Chat: ‘I love the Craig area’
5 minutes with James Miller, produce vendor at Landon’s Little Garden
August 26, 2012
When did you start selling produce:
"I have just started however my father, Jim, started earlier this year"
What motivated you to do this:
To help raise some money for bills and to send my son to a school for the blind.
"We're on the way to Texas. Work has slowed down in the oil fields. I work for A company called Adesco. It's a pump company (like western pump) except we strictly run high pressure pumps."
Impressions of Craig:
"I love the Craig area. My wife's mom actually lived here for quite a while so we've come back and forth occasionally."
Where has this trip taken you:
Vernal, Utah, Rangely and Craig. Then back to Parachute and Grand Junction.
Song or musical genre you never tire of:
"I'm a big country fan. I never get tired of country."
"That's a hard one. Movies have kind of slacked off lately."
"My son, Landon"
Most embarrassing moment:
"Probably when I was kid in the swimming pool and my shorts fell off. That's probably the most embarrassing."
