Daily Press writer
For registered voters, the polls for the Moffat County 2001 coordinated general election will be open Tuesday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
People wanting to vote had to have been registered by Oct. 9, said Beverly Johnson, Moffat County Clerk and Recorder.
Regular precincts 1, 2, 5, 10 and 11 voters go to Craig City Hall, while regular precincts 3, 7, 9, 12 and 13 voters should go to the Moffat County Courthouse.
Regular precincts 4 and 6 vote at Maybell library while regular precinct 8 vote at Dinosaur Town Hall.
Elected offices on the ballot include the Dist. 2, 4 and 6 school district seats.
Residents who live within the Craig city limits can also vote on initiatives 200, 201, 202 and 203.
The state issue on the ballot will be whether to approve amendment 26, which is whether or not to put $50 million toward researching a monorail that would run from Denver to Vail.
Referendum A, which asks whether the Great Outdoors Colorado Trust Fund debt should be increased, will also be on the ballot.
If people aren’t sure whether they are registered or have questions regarding voting day, they can call the election office at 824-9104, Johnson said.
