At its regular meeting tonight, the Moffat County School Board is scheduled to vote on the 2010-11 school year budget.
The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. at the district administration building, 775 Yampa Ave., and is open to the public.
The $19 million budget is up for approval after several months of discussion and feedback regarding $1.1 million in budget cuts.
Due to decreased state and local funding, the district trimmed down its budget by switching health insurance carriers, reducing costs through attrition and raising book and activity fees, among other changes.
The board is also set to approve second readings on several school policies regarding computer devices and computer systems.
The board will also adjourn to executive session to discuss personnel matters.
