Moffat County School Board: Helping the children

To the editor:

Dr. Jo Ann Baxter, Andrea Camp and Trish Snyder are all term-limited on the Moffat County School Board in the upcoming November election. Tony St. John is up for re-election in his district after having served one term.

Through this letter, it is our hope to captivate the interest of residents and encourage them to serve on this board.

As a school board member, you have the opportunity to contribute to an organization whose core value is making decisions that benefit children.

A wealth of information is available to assist in understanding the educational issues, budgetary procedure, legal concerns and many other questions that may arise. These resources, combined with the support and expertise of the administration and faculty, assist the board in making some very difficult decisions.

As a school board member, you are provided the opportunity to advance this district's growth. We invite you to come forward and volunteer your time, energy and ideas. The Moffat County School District will benefit with your direction and support that will serve not only our students, but also our community as a whole.
