The club is looking for applicants who not only take academics seriously, but are also active community participants through community service and volunteer work. Applicants should also be actively involved in Moffat County High School extracurricular activities, whether through participation in club sports or other avenues of service. The Moffat County Cattlemen's and Moffat County Cattlewomen's Associations are offering a $500 scholarship to a current or incoming college or trade school student who plans to study agriculture or a related field. Parents or grandparents must be current members of one of the associations and need to have been a paying member for at least two years. Former applicants may re-apply but may not be awarded the scholarship more than twice. A completed application, essay questions and personal resume are due to the Moffat County Cooperative Extension Office by May 1.
