Moffat County Council on Aging hosts summits

The Moffat County Council on Aging and the Area Agency on Aging will host two more summit meetings for gathering basic information from the general public about creating a facility where seniors can meet, socialize, exercise, learn and recreate.

The first summit is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Saturday, and the second meeting is from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Monday. Both meetings will be in room 175 at the Craig New Campus of CNCC.

All age groups in Moffat County are encouraged to participate in the scoping meetings to discuss the possible future of a senior community. Participants are asked to park in the west parking lot and enter the building through the north door. Refreshments will be provided. For any special concerns, such as physical challenges, contact Neil Folks at neilfolks@wildblue.net or call 970-326-8726.
